As part of the IT Team I am responsible for managing all the Technology Projects for Infocredit Group.

I work closely with both the technical team and the other business departments to enable the timely delivery of both internal and external projects.

Along side my role as Project Manager I also have a major contribution to both the technical analysis and product design process during the project initiation phase.

Major Projects

Upgrade API4all to version 2

API4all if Infocredit's main credit report platform that is used by customers all over the world. I am coordinating the first major version upgrade to our core reporting platform. This involves managing both internal teams and multiple external providers under very right deadlines.

As head of the IT and Digital department of the Phileleftheros group, I am in charge of the IT infrastructure and digital platforms of the group.

I manage a team of 6 people with Networking, Software Development and Digital marketing skills. Our team manages the day to day operation of all IT and Web infrastructure for the group and is engaged in a number of projects to improve both the infrastructure and digital processes of the company.

Migration to Virtualised Hardware

I led the effort to design and procure a new virtualised solution for the hardware needs of the group and migrated all our software platforms from the old bare metal servers to the virtualised environment.

Redesign of Websites

As part of our efforts to modernize and improve traffic to the group's online news websites our team redesigned and implemented goal.com.cy, kariera.com.cy and xryseseteries.com. All sites where re-implemented using the latest SEO and web development technologies.

As Project Coordinator, I manage internal software development projects and all projects with external partners.

For internal development projects I help plan and coordinate tasks between two teams of developers based in Australia and Cyprus. I also report progress and liaise with the company's Executive Team.

For projects with external partners I coordinate the work and create a bridge between the Technical team, Business and External partners.

Digital Wallet Platform

I participated from the concept phase in the project to develop our Digital Wallet offering. I coordinated the Technical effort and played a major role in ensuring business requirements were clearly communicated to the technical team. The product has launched into a beta period and is expected to be widely available soon. Major milestones for this project included upgrading our Core Banking software to support SEPA Instant Transactions and the in-house developed iPhone Digital Wallet application.

3D Secure Version 2 Server Implementation and Certification

As part of our regulatory requirements to implement Strong Customer Authentication we upgraded our 3D Secure server to support the latest version of the specification. I gathered all specifications and worked with the Technical team to design and implement the solution. After the technical implementation was completed I coordinated the certification of our 3D Secure Server with the Card schemes we cooperate with (Visa, Mastercard, Diners and JCB)

I worked as part of the product design team and designed new features for our billing and customer loyalty solution. The design team providing formal high level technical designs and required documentation for the technical team to Implement. I also spent a lot of time engaging with customers to better understand their needs and usage of the software.

Design of Business Intelligence Solution

I lead the project design for the new Business Intelligence solution for our billing and customer loyalty software. I engaged with our customers to fully understand their reporting and business intelligence needs and produced the specifications to successfully add the solution to our software.

Billing Solution for Online Streaming Platform

I designed and managed the project for our largest new customer which was launching an innovative new digital Streaming Platform.

The project had a high level of complexity, a tight deadline and a hard launch date. The project was delivered on time and within the initial budget.

I founded Bytecrafts with two partners in 2011 as a technology company that would offer solid digital solutions using open source software. Bytecrafts merged with ConvertPLC in 2015.

As director at Convert PLC I oversaw the growth of the company, managed business development and participated in the design, development and delivery of a number of websites and e-commerce sites for Cypriot and international clients.

Design and Development of Cylaw.org

At Bytecrafts we developed the cylaw.org platform for the Cyprus Bar Association using only open source software. Cylaw now provides a searchable archive of all Cypriot legislation that anyone can freely use. For the project I engaged with the Stakeholders from the Cyprus Bar Association to gather all requirements and incorporate these into the system design. I also contributed a large part of the development effort in implementing the solution.

Headed the IT Department for the entire group.

Responsibilities included running and maintaining all the groups hardware and software infrastructure required to support their 24/7 broadcast, printed and online media operations.

Digital Publishing Implementation

As IT Manager I oversaw the Implementation of new digital publishing workflow including new software for all printed media of the group, participated as technical lead on the implementation of the first news portal in Cyprus, Sigmalive.

Transition from Cyprus Pound to Euro

I participated in the task force set to ensure a smooth transition within the company from the Cyprus Pound to Euro. This included requirement gathering from all departments, as well as overseeing the installation of a new ERP and Sales software from a third party vendor.
